Ragnok the Angler!, first of all you MUST be minimum lvl of 45 to enter.
Access One of your raid members MUST have completed Cove of Decay access quest.
Location Cove of Decay is located in thundering stepps next to the dead river end. Near where Doomsqall epic spawns.
x 2,3 or 4 Depending on your levels you will need 1- 4 groups to take down this Raid mob. If your all level 60 and at least 2 healers and a good tank 1 group can take him. I would recommend 4 groups and 4/5 healers for 45 - 50 lvls
Loot He drops a master chest guaranteed, nice fabled gear!
lockout/zoning the lock out time for this instance is 6days, if you fail you can revive in zone to retry!
Tricks and tips..
Basically in the zone are fish in the sea , Ragnog the Angler giant and giant crabs. The agler and crabs are non aggro untill all fish die. once the last fish is dead (fight in water or they break and reset), then all aggro.
As the raid wont want to tackle Angler straight after killing fish , a tactic is to mezz the last fish to allow all raid members to heal up and regen thier mana. Another important point is Ragnog has a kick back AE and can send a player right across the zone to his doom. this is why all players espeicially the main tank needs to get his back against a rock wall or zone in door to avaiod a long throw.
Usually when the fish is mezzed we all run to the zone in door ready for ragnog to come to us. Some times he breaks as its a long distance and there is a rock in the valley you can use to put you back against. Anoth tactic if he resets is to pull with a pet as the pet will die and when it come to the group we can quickly rezz the caster.
Once last fish dies Main Tank will get good agrro on ragnog whilst a Main Assit designated tank withh cut down the crabs. Once crabs are down then on to ragnog. We have noticed if you debuff ragnog he goes down alot easir.
Ok Ragnog is now down to 52% health all apart from MT should stop attacling to let main Tank build up really good aggro as Ragog resets at 50% with full health and 3 x mor hit points, he also hits harder. If you stop attacking at 52% Ragnog with go straight back onto Main tank. Again Main tank needs to be between gagnog and a wal or zone in to avoid that nasty throw and / or death and healer keep MT up Damage per second classes need to manage aggro and not go overboard on attacks incase they pull aggro from the main tank..
When Ragnog dies buff ready for opening od master chest sometimes nasty trap!.
