Chosen by the Mithaniel Marr who blessed them with enhanced intellect and physical form to further his cause they embody truth, honour and valour, early in their history they fought a long and costly battle against the trolls of Grobb culminating in their victory in taking the troll city in the events before EQ1 renaming it Gukta.
However it was not to last and after years of raiding by the trolls it was assaulted by a mighty Rallosian host, despite fighting valiantly defeat was inevitable so the Frogloks ordered a retreat of their young ones into the depths of the citadel of Guk where they knew the trolls could not follow with their war machines. However a evil power had long being growing in power in the depths of Guk and they were not seen again until the events of EQ2.
Other Frogloks who escaped had attempted to travel to the two main cities of Queynos and Freeport, but the overlord of Freeport dismissed their plight, Queynos was sympathetic but only increased her watchfulness. In the aftermath of the rending the Froglok's that survived eventually fell into slavery of a evil Lizard empire of Alliz Tae'Ew in Feerrott, although the strongest eventually escaped to form a hidden village.
500 years later the spirit of the Frogloks was found to have been imprisoned in the Temple of Cazic-Thule and remained there until a mighty band of heroes released them (live server raid event of EQ2).
