Since it's launch Everquest 2 has had 3 expansions and 3 Adventure Packs.
Adventure Packs
Adventure packs are designed around the following concept:
SOE officially revealed today that they are planning to release "Adventure Packs" for EverQuest II, giving players new content to pursue apart from the game expansions we are all familiar with. They still intend to release expansions about twice a year. Story-driven Adventure Packs will feature new quests and zones, and the first one, scheduled for release in March, will sell for $4.99 unless you have a Station Access subscription, in which case they will be free. For players, adventure packs are a welcome addition to the game in between the longer development cycles of the Expansion Packs.
So Far SOE has released the following Adventure Packs for Everquest 2:
